Vathi

After a couple of hours sleep we were up about 12.30am to leave home by 1.30am for Birmingham Airport (UK) and our 6.15am flight to Cephalonia, Greece.
The M50 was shut so it was a detour through Malvern and Worcester not that we saw a lot as it was so dark!

It was hectic on landing with delays.  We collected our car and stopped at Lidl supermarket on the way to Sami port to stock up for our holiday. An earlier ferry saw us arrive at our villa by 5.15pm.

After a quick freshen up, I left Mrs BB in the villa whilst I drove thirty minutes to the capital, Vathi, for continuation of my dental implant from last year!

On the way home, the sun was starting to go down. I spotted the sun above a roof, and with the lovely street lamps along the harbourside, couldn't resist stopping for my first photo' of the holiday.
