Afales Bay

We enjoyed a good lay in after yesterday's long day through travelling, followed by a few hours on the sunbed outside our villa.

This evening Mrs BB decided she wanted to walk to nearby Afales Bay (Ithaca, Ionian Islands, Greece). I drove to collect her an hour later but she decided she wanted to walk back as well.

The beach was deserted except for a couple sat in the sea admiring the beauty of Afales Bay. Very often, with the sun on the sea, the water will turn an extremely light blue; stunning!   The photo' shows Mrs BB walking along the beach towards the romantic couple and views across the Ionian sea towards Lefkada Island opposite.

We're enjoying an evening in with a home made greek salad from the things we bought in Lidl, Cephalonia, yesterday before we caught our car ferry over to Ithaca.
