Another Buttertubs walk
We find with our bad knee and hip (not both in one body) that Buttertubs Marsh is a perfect walk for us. Distance is 2 km. It is a loop trail. There are songbirds. AND - this time there was a biology lesson (extra photos). While being careful not to disturb her, we did quietly suggest that there was a prepared patch of soft sand about 3 metres beyond where digging would be easier and her eggs would be a tad further off the trail behind a railing. Our grandbaby expresses her interest in things (people, animals, birds) by pointing. She was quite fascinated.
