Helford

On day two of cycling the West Kernow way. This is Helford which is beautiful. We arrived too early for the ferry so spent a lovely half hour talking to a lady who had emigrated to New Zealand 30 years ago.

This route is not easy but it is beautiful. There are a lot of sharp ascents and descents and you have to be fairly sharp with your route following but it's a great way to get around some amazing, unspoilt parts of Cornwall.

Old tramways, industrial heritage, spots like Helford, Cadgwith, Porthleven and arriving by bike always provides a bit of a conversation starter.
