Longridge Samba Band.

These are my samba band friends. I’m in the middle of the back row. We were low on numbers so the guy on the left played the Surdo drum for the first time and did very well. We processed from the square in Goosnargh along the main road. Its was very busy outside the Stags Head and we were stuck there for a while. So we asked for and got some audience participation which was great. The rain held off but it was very hot which made it quite hard work. We were asked to play the whole parade on to the village green and I think we did a good job of creating a carnival atmosphere.
