Chillington Horse Trials

L and I met up with a couple of members from the photo club at the Chillington Horse trials today. It was interesting to see how they approached photographing the event, especially as they come from different areas of photography, wildlife and portraiture.

It was an interesting few hours, watching the competitors tackle the water obstacles on the course. I have plenty of images including another occasion where a rider fell off her horse, but it was this image, where the grey was riding through a field covered in daisies, which is my choice for the day. I just loved the balance between the subject and the environment around it.
