Mae gennyn ni Blodau'r Dioddefaint (Passion Flower) yn blodeuo unwaith eto. Mae hen ystyr 'Passion' oedd rhywbeth fel 'i ddioddef'. Felly Dioddefaint Crist.

Nawr mae'n fwy fel 'Brwdfrydedd' - ac mae'n rhywbeth defnyddiol. Os rydyn ni'n gallu gwneud pethau gydag angerdd, rydyn ni'n gallu bod calon gyfan- hyd yn oed tra rydyn ni'n rhoi'r biniau allan, neu olchi'r llestri- a mwynhau'r gweithgaredd.

We have the Passion Flower blooming once again. The old meaning of 'Passion' was something like 'to suffer'. Hence the Passion of Christ.

Now it's more like 'Enthusiasm' - and it's something useful. If we can do things with passion, we can be wholehearted - even while we put the bins out, or wash the dishes - and enjoy the activity.
