In flight

The temperature increased today. Thus far, I'd enjoyed a very temperate 18-19 degrees since arriving in Budapest. Plenty warm enough for a Northern European. Today it suddenly shot up to a more normal (for this time of year) 27-28 degrees.

I had a leisurely morning until JDz arrived from the airport. We had coffee locally and then a glass of wine at the tourist hotspot of Gerbeaud before we met IP at one of his local restaurants (where I've been a time or two with him). Conversation ranged widely including politics. We used the tram along the Danube to get back to the hotel (the same one featured in yesterday's blip.

After a rest I took JDz back to yesterday's craft bar place where I had the beer flight, which turned out to be free as the waiter had a mishap and tipped most of a previous order all over the table and us....

No real harm done.

A lovely sociable day in Budapest although I know I was missing a sociable (and wetter) day in Pitlochry.
