De la Salle highland gathering

Just as well that we decided to skip it last Saturday as we would have been at the school on our own as the event was actually today. Yes, I am plonker.

About eight different pipe bands, highland dancers, lots of stalls and food outlets, and the busiest beer garden I have seen in a long time. The extras show the Scottish bands as opposed to these Irish fellows.

The noise was incredible but we enjoyed our wee wander around before escaping to the Tap Room for a quieter cold beer.
