Here They Are

The buddleya have finally bloomed. A visiting swallowtail butterfly stopped for a snack this afternoon while our friend, the katydid, busily angled for an 'insectual' treat. This is the same type of butterfly that visited "The michigan man" (outdoorguy) two weeks ago. I have never had one here myself. I hope you can spot our katydid. I think it is the same one because that patch of brown is on the spine of this one. I have seen another one that has no brown... hoping for katydid mating!!
We've got a 'three in one' perfect summer day... yet another in a row.
I cannot believe this pleasant, not too hot nor too humid weather is happening here in August.
