Sweet Columbine

A new month and a new flower in the garden, Aquilegia, commonly known as columbine.  I have lots of the small red variety, but these hybrids are my favorite.  We had downpours yesterday that has given everything a good soaking. The world around me is a lush green and the grass is growing at an alarming pace.  I will need to schedule another lawn mowing for later in the week.  Off to do a bit of shopping later.
