Hengistbury Head

In  black and white this time. A lot busier than our last visit at the start of April…but still a beautiful spot and relatively quiet before the summer season kicks in good and proper. We had to abandon our plan to catch the ferry at Christchurch and walk on to Barton on Sea. Our newly nationalised rail service turned out to be just as crap as the old one which meant we didn’t get to the coast until 2ish. Never mind - still a lovely day and we will do the Barton walk another day. Got home well after 7. A cold beer, pizza + wine then bed !
