The Man in the Distance

It feels like all hell has broken loose at the moment. 

We had a beautiful day today and yet another opportunity to enjoy a fantastic walk along the Solent Way. The man is my lovely partner. He loathes having his picture taken so most of my shots of him are a) from behind and b) from a distance

Looking at this image whilst catching up on today’s news made me see things through an apocalyptic filter. I kept hearing Kate Bush’s brilliant song “ Hello Earth” and the mesmerising music she sampled from Werner
Herzog’s Nosferatu . 

I’ve enjoyed so many sunny days on the Dorset Coast - a place I first fell in love with in 1989 after a spell of working in Bournemouth after university. 
My goodness.. how different the world is now
