The Plaza

Today we left the finca and headed south for the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de La Palma. It is a drive of around an hour and quite a change from the rural north where we live. (And where there are more goats than people).

Not that I would suggest that the capital is big or busy. It only takes 15 minutes to walk briskly from one end to another.

But then, with a plaza at almost every turn, who is going to walk briskly?
