These flowers were opening up to the sunshine which was intermittent today, and there was a cold wind. Hardly June weather.
Norman deadheaded the rhododendron this morning, and it looks so forlorn after the exuberance of the past month. So sorry it has ended.
So sorry too that j have come to the end of the Venezuelan letters. I have enjoyed them so much, especially the stories about baby Anna. I wish we were able to share them with her.
