Lush!

The veg is growing like mad!
Carrots, potatoes, broad beans, spring onions, tomatoes, peppers, baby cucumbers, courgettes,
lettuce, beetroot and sprouting broccoli, all interspersed with poppies waiting to burst forth.
It fills me with joy!

I forgot to tell you yesterday about our bathroom extractor fan. It broke a while ago and Frank ordered a new one. We knew birds had been in there. Frank took the old fan out and of course it left a big hole in the wall to the outside. I said to Frank that he should cover it as bats might come in. He said they wouldn’t.
When I went to the bathroom before bed I switched the light on and a bird was sitting in the hole looking at me! Frank then covered to hole on the inside, the bird was able to get out.
