Dahlias

We both had dental appointments this morning and driving to Earby we had to pass the lovely nursery where I bought plants a couple of weeks ago.
I think Frank was hoping we could just drive on past. 
I bought these 3 lovely dahlias and another foxglove.
Since I pulled out the forget-me-nots and some weeds there were a few gaps. After a cool breezy morning the weather turned sunny and warm.
Tomorrow we are going to Beck Hall Vegan Hotel in Malham for two nights - a Christmas gift voucher from Frank’s son Sam. It’s not very far from where we live but it will be nice to chill out there for a couple of days.
We were lucky to get these dates as they are fully booked for ages in advance. It’s such a lovely area and even if it’s raining (which it will!) we will go for some nice walks and we can read and sketch in the bar. I may take some knitting.
Bella will love it there as they love dogs and hand out treats,
