Hard at work!
Thursday
The painting of our house continues, between all the rainy days we’ve had. It’s been a miserable May, with cool temperatures and lots of rain. Our painter, Garret has been holding off on doing the upper part of the woodwork, since he was wanting to rent a lift, which he rents by the week, for a lot of money, so wanted a decent span of weather to begin. Fingers crossed, the weather is supposed to be dry Saturday through Tuesday, so he is planning to work through the weekend.
I was out this morning at Bible Study, continuing with Adam Hamiltons book, Seeing Gray in a world of Black and White. When I got back, we had a coffee, then R went out to buy some mulch, and then started putting it down, and I started cutting the back grass, which takes quite a time.
In the evening we had our last hand bell practice of the season. We play in service on Sunday, then we are finished for the summer. Schools are finished now until mid August.
