Screen Events

A trip to the cinema as the weather was a bit cooler. I wanted to see the new Wes Anderson film but it has had mediocre reviews and the alternative of The Salt Path seemed more appealing.

But I am a fan of the Wes A films and so it won. Very pleased to have seen it but it was incomprehensible to me although my friend grasped the plot much better than me.

I think that Wes Anderson films are works of art, not just films. The details and attention to detail make them like a visit to an art gallery full of pictures and curios.

So if you like Wes A, ignore the critics and go and see it!

And there are lots of upcoming screen events with the flyers being prepared in the foyer on the way out. Opera and theatre. Inter alia is supposed to be good.
