We only meet...

Back to work. I woke to a message from my young padawan. She sent me one of her wedding photos, where she looks stunning and just thanked me for coming and more. A great way to start the day.

Whilst I have been busy today, it has been relatively quiet. I did have to pop out and go to a funeral this morning. My father's cousin's wife had passed away after a battle against Alzheimers. Despite Saturday's wedding, I seem to be spending more time at funerals these days. Often the only places I only ever seem to see people.

The weather has been good today.

A quiet night ahead before I head north to Manchester for a few days.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Waking to a message from my young padawan and a beautiful photo of the bride and groom
2.  A good send off in sad circumstances
