View

It was a nice morning, which became a nice day. I had a busy morning, then escaped for a late lunchtime wander.

It was windy, very windy, but warm. I walked up Calton Hill, and struggled to stand upright to take a couple of photos, but the views were amazing as it was so bright and clear. I didn’t have enough time to wander very far, so headed back to the office, I was very windswept.

I noticed a colleague had been out and had come back with a large shopping bag. Later he showed us his purchases, new clothes for his holiday. Even later, he told us about his forthcoming holiday, which sounds very exciting!!

Once home we had tea, then I popped out for some steps. I saw a couple of hares tonight, but the pictures are not very good, so no hare blip today. Instead there is a view from Calton Hill. You certainly don’t get a feel for the strength of the wind.
