Poppies

I had plans to meet a friend for a walk this morning, but late last night she changed it to a plan to go shopping. I was less keen on that plan, but went for it, so we could have a catch up. It also gave me the opportunity to do a return before the time ran out. That was my first job, once it was done, I was happy to wander, while she was looking for a couple of things. The shops were empty, so it was almost pleasant.

We stopped for a scone and a cuppa in M&S, and I was rather disappointed with my scone. In the end I picked up a pair of trousers for work, and two tops in a sale. Not sure I needed any of them. We then said our goodbyes, and I headed home, stopping to pick up some lunch on the way back.

Once home there were chores to be done, and a some food shopping to be done. I made a fish stew for tea, having had to go and buy more fish as BB appeared home!

After tea BB and Iwent out for a walk. We didn’t see any hares this evening. We had birthday cake when we got home, and watched some TV.
