Not just an ordinary light switch

After all the excitement yesterday, today we packed our bags, left our ultra-modern apartment at Silverstone and headed back home.

I thought I’d share a photo of the main light switch by the apartment door. In fact the light switches all had a button for on, a button for off but some had low light options too, the bedrooms and bathrooms for example. Now we’re back home, it’s back to the simple rocker switch.

I’ve often wondered if I’d like an ultra-modern, minimalist homes but having tried it I’ve decided ‘cosy’ with all my favourite things around me is what I like. Apart from maybe the bathroom. Simple clean lines seem better there. The huge walk-in shower was great, the deluge shower head was the size of a pizza!
