Jinglin' Geordie

I'd already decided not to swim this morning and that was a good decision. I'm really anxious about the new guests but all went well in the beginning. And #1 soon is home. 

Once up and after breakfast and the usual admin I decided just to go to town. Looked at clothes and even tried some on (!) but didn't buy. Then to the James VI exhibition at the Portrait Gallery.  Very interesting including a portrait of George Heriot. 

I was there to meet C, the date Is missed from last week, and we had a very long lunch, nearly 4 hours, and lots of catch up chat.

During this there was a minor prob with the guests, AC, but I think it's ok. Then distressing news, Kitty fell.off the balcony, 7 floors, and is in a critical condition. Plus WH has a problem at work. Feel.so far away. 

That put a complete downer on the rest of the day. Did eat and watched TV, endings SHOTY and PanAm103.
