A Good One
I've been taking a lot more photos of my son over the last week or so for the Family Album App. It's an amazing app that allows the main user, me, to post photos of Little Man so that our extended family can see him grow up. I haven't posted photos of Little Man, front on, on social media as its easier to explain why he didn't grow up with his photo being shared, than why he did. When I was pregnant, I made this decision together with Little Man's father. I came across the app whilst waiting for a scan and when I realised its potential, I jumped on board and downloaded it. Once I made an account, I sent the links to the extended family. You can only join an album if you get sent a link from one of the admins. Once you've used the link you can view the pictures that are posted. It saves on having to share the photos on several different messaging groups and platforms. There is a free plan, with ads, and two subscription plans, but only one of the admins need to pay for the plan (which I do, to avaid having to deal with lots of ads). The company that runs the app also provides photo print services. Every month all the users get eleven free prints, and only pay for postage. I've been ordering photos from Family Album for about nine months now, to add to Little Man's physical photos albums. He really enjoys looking through them and I've made sure to include all the family members he's had photos with over the years.
In other news, Little Man had nursery today and had a lovely time. I was able to get the mountain of laundry sorted out and put away. I collected Little Man and we've had a lovely afternoon. Its the second consecutive day without having Netflix running. Little Man has asked, a few times, but I've told him he couldn't and then he's gone back to playing.
