Day Out
Little Man and I have a pretty busy day. We got the bus to Bodegraven and then caught the train to Utrecht. We needed to get a few things and I wanted to spend a bit of time in the city. Little Man enjoyed seeing the police bikes and the cars. He waved at the officers in the cars and they waved back.
We then came home, via Bodegraven and the park. When we got back, I let Little Man play whilst I got everything ready for his speech therapy appointment in Reeuwijk. About fifteen minutes before we left, he found where I'd hidden the laptop and was not happy when I said that he couldn't watch anything because we were leaving soon. He calmed down once we were on the bike and he had his Duplo police motorbike. The appointment went well, and Little Man is making steps in the right direction.
We popped past the supermarket to get poffertjes mini pancakes as I didn't fancy cooking anything for dinner. The last few days have felt very long, probably because I haven't been sleeping well. It's the reason why I've decided not to go to life group tonight. I need an early night.
