First cherries

These are the first local cherries. I’m not convinced they travel well, so was delighted to spot these in the shop. Our cherries will likely be ready in about 3 days… when I will not be here, and by the time I’m back (frankly by 8 am the morning they come out) the jays will have swiped them all.

Holiday from work today, so some gardening and housework - including clearing my office and the gall for a delivery tomorrow.
