York day

Darlo shopping in the morning, including sorting out my wedding anniversary ring.

Then off to York for TallGirl’s birthday lunch. CarbBoy made it up despite Hereford being very very far, so we four plus TallGirl’s girlfriend had a very fun lunch at a tapas place.

Quick walk around the walls and through a nature reserve, then the girls had panto duty so the three of us headed back to Darlo, quick pint, then on the way home HUGE excitement for Mr B when he saw a kingfisher on the little river in the town centre (he’s been looking for it for months, having heard from a friend that it existed). Later, dinner and an early night.
