Late EB

Packed a lot in today.   

Eye test first thing.  Nowhere to park outside the optician so I followed someone else who looked like they were after a spot too and they led me to a cul-de-sac nearby with a few 1 hour spots.  Result.   New reading prescription might help reduce headaches.

Appointment for Ruth mid morning.   Longer drive to get there.   Good, if routine, appointment.  Dropped her 24hour blood pressure monitor off at the pharmacy on the way back.

Lunch.  Packed the car.  Left hers 315 to find google maps taking me on a magical mystery tour to avoid a closure on the M6.   This worked out OK thankfully.   Stop for a sandwich in Welshpool.

Home 715, after a stop at the ball field for Meg.   Unpacked most of the stuff from the car.   Only ten minutes late for singing.   We're opening a music festival following a local wedding next weekend so important practice time.   It went well but organising our group can be like herding cats and I was leading tonight!    

Walk for Meg after 10pm, unwind, supper, bed.

The first of the Hot Water Plants, aka Achimenes, are flowering.  This is Purple King, the first I ever grew, one I got from my Mum.   It will be in flower all summer.
