Going home
Trans Future 7 leaving Port Nelson and heading for Nagoya, Japan.
TF7 is 200 metres x 32 metres and after dropping vehicles in the Port it loaded with packs of MDF manufactured locally.
They are a strange vessel and will hold around 3000 vehicles and not just cars the ramp on the stern will take 50 ton and the interior is quite a maze of levels with some 10 decks with some being adjustable for height.
The sea is a different colour today as the sky and light are different from yesterday.
The Extras
The new Pilot boat heading out, it cost NZ$4 million!
A couple of tugs assisting TF7 leave.
Is that the Pilot out on the bridge wing with the "Pilot aboard "H" flag" above.
16c was seen but still a cool breeze.
