Old friend

Hello darkness  my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again

 I've been ignoring you haven't I.
"What? It's time I brought you of retirement?  
OK, I will, but I'm not sure when"

I actually miss handling a great piece of technology, not the newest by far. This camera must be about 12 years old if not more.
I find the menus in mirrorless cameras too many options and variables, a setting for this, a setting for that, a setting for when your aunt comes to dinner. What's wrong with using the basics, aperture, shutter speed and so on controlling the camera instead of it controlling us.

And, as a very lazy photographer who didn't have a relevant blip for today and normally pulls his phone out of his pocket, that's my rant.
