Evening

On our way to a meeting of the HOC. The light was so remindful of old photos and b&w movies.

For those who are unfamiliar, an HOC, (Home Ownership Corporation) has a bunch of rules and standards that you are made fully aware of before you buy the house.)
As almost always at these meetings, there are those who think that one particular rule/bylaw or another doesn't apply to themselves and they make a point of asking what turns out to be effn stupid questions. I was particularly thrilled when J, the leader of the meeting, replied to one homeowner in a more than stern voice "Sir, are you calling me a liar?"
Unsurprisingly, he didn't quite know how to respond.
Another person couldn't grasp the concept that the board is neither for parking on the street, nor against parking on the street, it is just their job to adhere to both local and civil laws.
I got a chuckle out of that particular exchange.

BTW,, does this count for Mono Monday?
