Hanging Out

Doug and I say thankyou to you all on yesterdays blip - I should have said that his actual birthday isn't until next Tuesday, but because the Nelson couple were here this week we made it to suit them.
A really cold day here, bleak and miserable....tonight it is raining heavily and predicting snow down to low levels overnight.
My garden seems to be popular with the Fantails/Piwakawaka now that the temperatures have dropped.  Hard little birds to photograph as they flit here there and everywhere collecting little bug, flies, spiders etc......this one must have needed a rest, so I managed to capture him.  He made me smile the way he is resting.
