Nicky and her Nikon

Foxgloves in the woods

I slept better last night although I still felt so groggy when I woke up this morning. I did some gym and it was rather tortuous as it felt like I was woken up in the middle of the night to exercise - which it was, on San Diego time. When Gavin saw the nurse yesterday for his wound, she decided to give a pneumonia jab in the one arm and a shingles jab in the other, so he did not sleep well as both arms were so painful.

Today was mixed weather, sunshine and showers. When I had my weekly group golf lesson it was sunny, but it rained later. Golf was enjoyable today, we worked on the psychology of preparing mentally for the shot we are about to take.

After golf I went grocery shopping - not sure what is going on with our local waitrose but the veggie section has been pretty bare all week - again today, I had to change my planned menu for dinner as I could not get some basic vegetables.

Gavin and I had a video appointment with our bank to discuss changing his bank accounts to joint accounts, so I will be able to make payments and transfers from his accounts. When he was in hospital I found it tricky not being able to access his account to pay accounts. It took over an hour, as banks obviously have to make sure their clients have been read all the details and small print of the account and its benefits. Anyway, that is all done now.

This afternoon I took Xena for another walk and this photo was taken when it was raining. It was only a light rain so she thankfully did not get too wet, as she does not like being wet in the rain.

Tommy's suitcase still hasn't turned up...I am getting worried about it.
