Forward thinking

I went to mid-week Communion this morning, then this afternoon I made one of our favourite butternut squash, spinach and goat’s cheese quiches. This was in readiness for a visit tomorrow from my oldest schoolfriend and her husband, who are coming for lunch. I’m so looking forward to seeing them, they last came at the end of November and we were due to meet up again for a joint birthday celebration in March (my friend and I were born one day apart) but life got in the way and we’ve only just managed to re-arrange our date.

It will be her husband’s birthday next Tuesday, so I made this card today so that I could give it to him tomorrow to save posting it.
