Water Crowfoot

It was quite a nice day, so TT and I decided to go down to the borders to watch BB’s rugby. BB went on the team bus, and we set off a bit later in the car. Our destination was Walkerburn for the rugby 7s tournament.

We got there just in time to see BB score a try in their first game. They won convincingly. It was a while to their next game, which they also won convincingly. In between games we had some lunch, watched some rugby, and I went for a wee wander. The rugby pitch is right by the River Tweed.

They got to the semi finals, but we’re beaten by a better team, and in fact it was the team who won the tournament. We didn’t stay for the final as it had got very dark, and was about to rain. We just got to the car when the rain started. We headed home in the rain, and picked up some pizzas for tea.

Meanwhile BB was out with the team, much alcohol was drunk. At 11pm I got a message to say he couldn’t find his wallet!! He appeared home about an hour later, very worse for wear. I cancelled his bank card, and told him to get to bed with a bucket.

I was quite stressed when I eventually got to bed, which did not make for a good night’s sleep.

These flowers are growing in the river Tweed. The extras are if the rugby. BB is number 11.
