Wide Wednesday: Man Made Brutalist Architecture

I didn't have much time to look for brutalist architecture today for Steveng's Widwed challenge as I was at a meeting all day. However as I walked back from the meeting to the Metro station on the way home I came across this pretty disgusting-looking building so took a shot of it for my blip. There wasn't much room to stand back from it so I had to take my shot looking up. The architecture contrasts with the much more elegant arches of the railway bridge on the right of the photo where the old stonework looks much better in spite of the graffiti! (The bridge carries the main railway line north from Newcastle just after it leaves Newcastle Central Station.)
