A Grand Day Out

First of all thank you for the lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s Blip.
This morning it was cold and raining so after an amazing breakfast- which filled us up for the day - we had a drive round the Dales. The weather turned out quite nice so we stopped at a place of interest. We had no idea what it was until we started walking but we were so glad we went. See extra.

We walked up to the top and it was fascinating, ending up in a look out over a massive working quarry. The only thing is, it was Baltic up there and I mean like midwinter! We were frozen.
When we returned to hotel I had a hot bath and then a rather long nap while Frank walked into Nalham with Bella. Later we went into the hotel restaurant for a drink and I did some drawing. It was so relaxing. The hotel was full of visitors and their dogs! We met two other Romanian rescue dogs, one from Spain and one from Bosnia. Two separate couples were American and had looked up vegan restaurants and found Beck Hall. All were very impressed.
Now it’s bedtime though I’m not really tired after my 2 hour nap!
