Second day of conference
I was losing everything this morning and was glad I wasn’t making any major decisions today.
It was such a long day of networking that I was falling asleep at the end of the conference. When I came home I fell asleep on the couch for a bit. The pandemic brought out my inner introvert and I think my introvert was exhausted. I will skip the war reporting tonight.
That said, there is one company in particular I’ve been wooing. I worked with them before we were shut down. I wrote to them as our new company. Nothing. I wrote again. Nothing. The CEO was here to present at the conference. We successfully met with her after. She gave me her business card. I am so hopeful.
Thank goodness for this business, thank goodness for this business. I was told by someone else today that the renewable energy market is not hiring now with all the uncertainty.
Yesterday there was a little stone by the metro saying, “no kings.” Tonight there was this stone, in the extras. There is some activism going on in the country with people leaving stones with political messages.
