After the Rain…..

……. There were puddles galore along the Taylor River paths early this morning. I wore my gumboots and splashed through them all. Ruby would have delighted in them but I left her sleeping in her crate (Den) at home today. I took her for a walk early this afternoon.
Friend Lynette visited this morning. We had coffee and a good catch-up. It was far too wet for any gardening. We checked out the land over my northern fence line. A bulldozer with heavy equipment had being clearing the land during the last two days. It is a large area which will be developed over the next few years.
