Myrtle…..

……. on the window sill. It is a high window in a bedroom. I leave it slightly open so the cats can come and go through it. There is a restrictor on the frame so anything larger than a cat cannot get into the house.
It has been cold and mainly cloudy today and threatening to rain. Ruby and I went for a very early walk in the dark this morning. Even though I kept her on her leash it was long enough to allow her to splash through remaining puddles along the Taylor River paths. . She was very happy .
My vehicle now has a set of very grunty brand new tyres….. just in time for predicted cold winter weather.
