Gotcha!

This critter was quite a feat to photograph! On the very top of a tall plant swaying in the breeze, and moving all the time....

But such a striking beetle. And plenty of damsels too.

On our trip to Trentham I did take the 90mm macro lens this time which made all the difference. So it was worth carrying the extra weight! Well, I didn't carry it. My other half obliges to carry all my kit while I just takes the photos. Lucky me.
