So much rain in the night

I was pleased to see a poppy has opened despite this.  It looks really wet. 
I spent much of the morning, once the rain had stopped, delivering copies of the community newsletter. And in the afternoon I went to see a strange but rather good film called The Ballad of Wallis Island. Which is both funny and heartbreakingly sad.
