Lotus Position

Sally that is something far far away in my physical memory-gone are the days of the late 60's and early 70's when I sat on the grass listening to ISB, Melanie and Donovan and post Woodstock the West Coast US sounds. Quite the hippy was I!
Today's lotus though is the reference to my water lilies. There are four buds showing already, three in this shot. They all look to be white. I don't think I've ever had four flowers before, I look forward to seeing them in their glory in a week or two.
We've had a relatively low key day today although I had to wake up early ready to welcome the man from Dyno Rod. He seemed like a bit of a sledge hammer just to fix a dripping tap but it took him almost an hour so I guess it was worth it. While I was waiting for him I watched part of the Eucharist marking the opening of General Synod.
This afternoon I decided to put a couple of things on Gumtree which I'd been prevaricating about for ages. Fingers crossed... Oh and the tap doesn't drip any longer so that's good.
