Alien?

Imagine my surprise when I got the pak choi out of the fridge today - both of them have sprouted flowers since I bought them on Saturday :):)

I thought they look a little alien....

Does anyone know if the flowers are edible - google can't find anything!!

In the extra - when I visited an exhibition in May, I met one of the tutors from my gelli plate printing workshop. I was talking to her about doing her bookmaking course later in the year.  She was selling these books, and I've started experimenting to see what I can work with in them - oil pastels so far.  Just a bit of fun...

In other news, I am still suffering and now the antibiotics are causing issues.  In bed last night I suffered with 'chills' which were really creepy :(  I couldn't work out whether it was just a bit chilly - I changed to my summer duvet when the weather was a bit warmer - or it is the antibiotics (one of the symptoms of allergy is 'chills').  Anyway I've made it through the day...and now going to rest agian.
