Poppies and Cruachan
Not a bad morning, quite a sunny one. Continuing going through all my outdoor pots and plants - a never-ending job!
After lunch as the sun was shining I decided to return to Poppies Garden Centre after the abortive attempt to buy plants the other day. I just need a few bedding plants, or maybe a few fuchsias, to fill the small troughs on the fence along the deck.
I couldn't believe it! As soon as I set off it began to rain so I sat in the car at the garden centre for a while, but fortunately the rain didn't last long. I bought a few plants - not a great selection unfortunately - and on the way back popped into Dunstaffnage to have a wander along to the castle.
My Blip today is the view across the bay and marina to the peaks of Ben Cruachan. Back home to plant out my purchases and as soon as I'd finished the heavens opened, so I was spared the need to water the plants in!
