The Great Escaper

Cycled into St Andrews to catch the Great Escaper with Michael Caine and Glenda. Jackson. 5* acting as expected and a lovely poignant story about the tragedy of war and of aging with dignity. I’d been thinking recently how fortunate I am not to have lived through a major war and the sacrifice and horror experienced by other generations. There’s a nice bandstand in the extra to help cheer things up a bit!
