Den Does Cake

To the photo society this evening. To our delight it was Dennis' birthday. Den had made a chocolate cake and explained to us how simple it was to create. We looked on with admiration as we prepared to sample a slice. It was delicious.

Then it was competition time. All the members are encouraged to submit a print and a digital image for assessment by an external judge. The theme was Home. The judge gave my digital image 20/20. I was thrilled but she immediately corrected herself and demoted it to 18 points. Much laughter. So near yet so far.
