Musing of a Lady

Heron

It's been another typical day for Little Man and myself. We went to nursery and, as normal, Little Man went trotting in without any issues. He waved me off with a smile.

I came home, did some housework and had a call from the specialist primary school in Gouda in regards to helping Little Man's speech development. They're going to visit Little Man when he's at nursery to do an assessment, as to how they can best help Little Man moving forward. There was a document they needed, which I'd sent but they hadn't received. So I sent that again.

My mum called before I collected Little Man and we had a good chat. Little Man and I have somewhere to stay after we've been to the Isle of Man. I'm thrilled!

Little Man and I had a quiet afternoon, well as quiet as Little Man would allow. He wanted to watch Paw Patrol, but I didn't allow him to, much to his frustration. We had a lovely time together, taking photos on my fancy camera and playing. We had spaghetti bolognese for dinner before a bath and a short play time, then Little Man went to bed.

I took this photo of the heron as it made it's way down to the water. I've wanted to get a photo of a heron for a while, but they're very flighty birds and tend to know exactly when someone wants to take a photo, then they're gone.
