The morning was whiled away, along with some torrential rain, with me starting to knit the second emotional support chicken. This one is for my friend Rhian, who has breast  cancer and three ex-barn chickens, see extra she sent me earlier. (I know which I'd rather have...)

My life has slowed down a little since my back's been annoying, and actually I'm quite enjoying it - the slowing down, not the back - although jobs I can't do are accumulating... cleaning the bath, weeding the garden and digging the allotment - yes there's still 2 sq m I haven’t got round to.

After lunch I walked to the library for Knit and Natter, where the knitting was continued with difficulty as I forgot my glasses. I left the group early as I needed to get home and get ready for my physio appointment, a bonus was that I missed the heavy rain!

The physio session was good, he approved of stretches that I'm already doing and suggested a couple more. I was also thoroughly "manipulated"... in a good and painless way. Apparently most people of my age, and a good percentage of younger folk too, have disc bulges, some of which cause no problems.
